Marnie Somers says:

"I commissioned Shirley Klassen of Ferme Klassique to sell
my 1992 registered Quarter Horse gelding, The Original Imp.
This required shipping the horse via commercial carrier from
Manitoba to Ferme Klassiquein Quebec, and placing my horse
in Shirley's care and custody until sold.  Shirley followed up
with the carrier to ensure my horse's safe arrival and took very
good care of him during the process of showing him to
numerous prospective buyers.

I chose Shirley Klassen as my agent to sell this horse because she successfully
showed him, on my behalf, and they were top ten finalists at the 1994 Manitoba
50/50 Superhorse Futurity, Canada's richest Western Two-Year-Old Futurity. Shirley
negotiated a price satisfactory to both parties and efficiently and effectively handled
the financial transactions and transfer of registration papers to everyone's
satisfaction. I was most impressed with Shirley's commitment to the well being of my
horse, and her professionalism while acting as my equine sales agent."

I had the opportunity to meet Shirley years ago when taking some
riding lessons at another barn. She had brought one of her stallions there to breed
would never have thought this was an 'Arabian stallion' from all the rumours I've
heard about Arabians being 'too hot' to handle.

horses she had for sale since I was considering having my own horse one day.
Upon my visit, she had been very kind and patient in explaining what type of horse
would be best for me to own, and what was involved in time and expenses to
determine if this was the right decision for me make at the time. After a couple of
months, she found the perfect horse just for me - "Basodino" and I owned him for
3 entire years until circumstances led me to sell him (without any financial loss, I
might add) since she also handled the sale.  I boarded there and took lessons in her
huge indoor arena. My gelding was always 'safe and taken care of' since Shirley
has had several years of veterinarian training as well.

We have become really good friends these past years, and I would really
recommend anyone looking for the "right horse" for them or a loved one to at
least talk to her and benefit from all her years of experience. Whether you are
looking for an Arabian or a Quarter Horse, etc., she can guide you through the
purchase, riding equipment, horse training, riding lessons, breeding, boarding, and
even selling your horse! All under one roof... be it in English or Western
disciplines. You won't be sorry, I promise!!  Helping her create this website was a
pleasure, and helped me to repay her for all her help throughout the years.
Hello Miss Klassen and Mr. Painchaud,

I'm taking a few minutes to thank you for all your excellent work training Shaman
for driving.  He is very calm,  always remains in control and seems to love being in
harness.  I'm so satisfied!!!  I will not hesitate to recommend you whenever the
opportunity arises!

Thank you very much!
